Humans can only see 1% of the whole light spectrum, which means we can only see 1% of what is going on around us. In other words, we are unable to see the vast 99% of the world we live in!

As an artist, I am searching for the special light and challenge myself to depict feelings. I recently converted one of my cameras (Fuji GFX100S) to infrared. I enjoy using my infrared camera as it reflects elements like colors, textures, the sky, trees, and even human subjects differently than visible light photographs.

It has opened doors that I never knew existed. Some artists have photographed their entire life with Infrared (example Geir Jordahl). As the saying goes, it takes 10,000 hours to master a new craft. I am on my way!
